And am I the only one that remembers that hard was still so fkn easy? Like c’mon, give me a challenge! 9. In classic ’10s fashion, the game only had three levels on CPU: easy, medium and hard. Looking back, why does Touch Hockey feel like the first app ever created? It had literally the most basic premise, but for some reason it was like ‘why has anyone spent money on a real Air Hockey table when this exists?’ Why did I care so much about building a big-ass village, and then attacking others? Was I not happy with what I had? Could we not live in peace and help each other?Īlso, why did it take me, like, eight months to level up? I’ll tell ya, Clash Of Clans was money hungry asf, always asking me for my credit card… like PIPE DOWN you’re not that good. Clash Of ClansĬlash Of Clans will still remain one of those most randomly addictive games I have ever played. I’d be TapTapping to Khia’s ‘My Neck My Back ’ all night long.Īlthough once Guitar Hero came out and I made my transition, I learnt that the specs were waaay off, and the time at which you hit the button on each of them was completely different and just setting you up to fail. Was I the only one who used to think TapTap Revenge was the coolest game ever? The fact that you could ADD your own music and play the game was literally some revolutionary 2025 type ‘ish. Slice all the fruit thrown at you, avoid the bombs, and you’re pretty much set for a few decades. It was the game nobody asked for but everyone needed and, like herpes, it continues to pop up every now and then. Fruit Ninjaįruit Ninja was THE app of apps. It was a worldwide phenomenon bigger than Psy, and everyone spent at least three hours trying to get a score of four, MAX.ĭoes anyone else remember how the app got deleted because the owner went insane and felt guilty for making everyone so addicted to it? Dafuq? The people at Mrs Fields Cookies seem fine exploiting my addiction… 5. Flappy BirdĪnyone who breathes has had Flappy Bird on their phone at some point. Also, if you’re still sending me Candy Crush invites on Facebook in 2019, I’ve lost all respect for you. It makes it hard to actually learn anything. You're sitting with the "trainer" and a couple new hires and she's just talking at you for hours. The "class room training" is super awkward. They will tell you that you're doing great and you'll even get compliments from the physician on your performance and then you'll get fired out of nowhere. They are extremely fake (especially the people who train you). Overall, I enjoyed my time working with iScribe and I am grateful for the experiences, but I would not recommend it unless you need the clinical experiences.ĭo not work here. There is a lot of room for improvement on management's end here. This company also threatens to write up or fire employees, or throw you under the bus to the physicians if you are unable to make it to a shift to chart for them (which can hurt your ability to get into medical school, many of them are affiliated with the local medical school). Also, the system to receive raises was poor, and it would take excessive amounts of time to recieve any raises (even if you did an excellent job charting, most of it is based on picking up shifts and other random opportunities). There were many bad parts unfortunately. The pay was not good for the amount of work scribes do, and there was no pay differential for working night shift. I gained considerable amount of experience here that helped me move forward with my desired career in medicine. I am so grateful for the experiences, opportunities, skills, and connections that I have gained as an undergrad and cannot wait to see what the future holds as I pursue graduate school!Įnding this with a verse from the Qur’an that undoubtedly gave me the patience and strength to keep going. The good part of working here was the clinical experiences, opportunity to meet many physicians, and many wonderful other scribes. I can’t thank my family, friends, professors, mentors, and advisors enough for all the endless support I have received throughout my time. “And my success is not but through Allah”.Īfter four years of hard work, I am excited and blessed to say I have graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry!
